Worshipful Master Andrew Bronson
Brothers, friends, and guests,
Thank you for finding Frederick Franklin Lodge No. 14 - we are proud to serve the communities of Plainville and Bristol, CT and we appreciate your interest in us. My name is Andy Bronson, and I have the honor to serve as Master of the Lodge in 2024. I've been lucky enough to follow in the footsteps of tremendous individuals, dating all the way back to the late 1700s. The list of previous Masters features several prominent names in our local community and in the State of Connecticut, and the privilege of sharing this chair with them is not lost on me.
Despite calling Connecticut home for the past 10 years, I am not a native Nutmegger. I was born and raised in Upstate New York in a small village called Herkimer, situated on the Erie Canal halfway between Syracuse and Albany. My parents raised me with a strong sense of community, service, and values. When I moved to Connecticut, I brought these traits with me, and found a home for them with Freemasonry. In my leisure time, I'm an amateur writer, I've recently got back into constructing Lego sets (just finished the White House set), and I'm an avid New York sports fan (and a West Bromwich Albion fan for those *extremely* in the know about English football).
The Brothers of Frederick Franklin Lodge welcomed me with open arms in back in 2019 when I first started testing the waters to see if Masonry was for me, and it was one of the best choices I've made in my life. So if you're a man over the age of 18 and you've been a Connecticut resident for at least a year, I welcome you to come see if Freemasonry is right for you. If these characteristics don't apply to you, you're still more than welcome at any of our social functions open to the public - we'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Again, thank you so much for your interest in Frederick Franklin Lodge No. 14, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Andy Bronson, Worshipful Master
