Annawon Lodge #115 Dues & Assessments- we need your payments  on 06/27/2023

Brothers,

I hope that all is well with each of you as I send out this email.

As you know, each year we send out the annual dues bill at the first of the year, asking for your dues to be paid upon receipt of said bill. As of today, Tuesday 6/27/23, we still have 18 Brothers that are outstanding on their dues. Paying your dues helps Annawon Lodge to meet its financial responsibilities.

It would be appreciated if these 18 Brothers can send their dues check in, made payable to Annawon Lodge #115 A.F. & A.M. If it is within the reach of your cabletow, it would be even better to see you in Lodge and you can pay us via cash or check in person. This way you can enjoy a nice Lodge meeting and get to see the Brothers. We will be having a Fellowcraft Degree on Monday July 10th if you can make it.

Please contact me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Good Evening Brothers,

This email is being sent on behalf of Worshipful Master Chris Belous. Please email WM Chris at cbelous53@gmail.com with your response.

He would like the input of the Annawon Lodge Brothers regarding what each of you thinks we should do for dinner on Friday March 31st at the Grand Lodge Annual Communication in Windsor-

OR

-We go to the Grand Lodge dinner at the hotel in Windsor where the Grand Lodge Annual communication will be held. We have dinner and drinks based on options provided

Please reply to cbelous53@gmail.com so that the Worshipful Master can make his decision on what we are going to do. This is time sensitive as we need to put in reservations for the Grand Lodge dinner if we go to that, so your quick response is appreciated.

LAST CALL- Souper Bowl Charity Bowling Tournament-This Sunday 6/26/22- 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.  on 06/22/2022

Brothers All,

The Annawon Fellowcraft Club reminds you of our annual "Souper Bowl" duckpin bowling fundraiser to benefit the West Haven Project Hope Soup Kitchen this Sunday June 26th 2022 at 1pm. The cost of the event is $25. Brothers are encouraged to get their friends and family members to participate by either bowling or pledging a donation. The donation options are either a flat rate donation or they can pledge a per pin donation based on your total score for both games i.e. if you bowl a 120 on the first game and a 99 on your second game your total score would be 219 and if they pledge $1 per point they would donate $219.00 they can pledge any amount they want per pin  We just used $1 as an example to keep the math easy.  We have attached the flyer for this event along with a sponsor signup sheet.

We have room for 60 bowlers- 5 per team/lane. If you don't have a team of 5 don't worry you will be paired up with others. Please remember there will be pitchers of soda and water and pizza will be supplied for all bowlers and sponsors. We will bowl one game, take a break for pizza and drinks, and then bowl our second game. We will likely start bowling by 1:15 p.m. (after another party finishes bowling) and be done shortly after 4:00 p.m., so there will still be plenty of daylight hours to enjoy after an enjoyable afternoon of bowling for charity with your friends and family.

Please RSVP to Joey or Dennis by Friday 6/24/22. Help us fill all 12 bowling lanes, which will in turn help the soup kitchen feed many of the needy in West Haven.

See you Sunday!

Obituary

Richard L. Viscio, Sr. age 88 of Cheshire, CT entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 16, 2021, with his beloved wife of 64 years Ann Rosemarie (Rusate) Viscio, and family by his side. Richard was born in New Haven on June 4, 1933, to the late Pasquale and Sadie (Fertitta) Viscio. Richard was predeceased by his beloved son Richard L. Viscio Jr. and sister Carmella Rusate.

He could always be counted on to fix anything that needed fixing or build anything that needed building! A loving husband, father, uncle, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, he always offered support, gentle guidance and was quick to lend a helping hand.

Besides his devoted wife, Mr. Viscio is survived by his daughters Cynthia (John) Ryan and Janice (James) Ingarra; his daughter-in-law Tina Viscio; his sister Patricia Kapsinow; his brother Donald (Carmel) Viscio his grandchildren Rachel (Chris) Viscio-Russo, Erica Viscio, Gabrielle and Austin Ingarra; as well as his great-grandson Blake Viscio. Richard is also survived and was predeceased by several devoted nieces and nephews.

Wheelchair needed- update  on 12/03/2021

Hello Brothers,

I first want to thank everyone who offered a wheelchair for Brother Jerry Calabritto. The Lodge ended up purchasing a "transport wheelchair" which is a specific style of wheelchair that Jerry needed.

Jerry is very happy to have received it. He plans to use it until he no longer needs it and then it will be available for future use by other Lodge members.

A special thanks goes out to Brother Paul Ferro, who purchased the wheelchair and delivered it to Jerry earlier this afternoon.

Fraternally,

Dennis Frosolone-Annawon Lodge #115 Secretary

Wheelchair needed  on 12/02/2021

Hello Brothers,

As many of you may already know, our Lodge Treasurer Jerry Calabritto just had a successful kidney transplant. He came home two days ago and has care at home until he can get around on his own again.

Jerry is in need of a transportation wheelchair. He says he will need it for a few weeks so that his niece can take him to his check-ups. He will return it as soon as he no longer needs it.

Please respond to this email if you either have a transportation wheelchair or know how we can get one for Jerry.

Thank you Brothers.

Fraternally,

Dennis Frosolone PM- Annawon Lodge #115 Secretary
