Thank you all for electing me to serve as your Worthy Matron this year. Worthy Patron, Bill and I are looking forward to working with all of you so that Golden Rod Chapter will have another successful year. Hope you will come out and help us make plans for the new year. Remember that our Temple is Air Conditioned and Handicapped accessible. Looking forward to seeing you on April 5th.

JOSEPH ANDREWS CHAPTER #46, RAM
Companions,
At our last meeting we had Election of Officers. I was honored to be re-elected as High Priest. I hope we can continue to go forward in our good works in the quarries and continue to grow the Chapter. Our meeting this month, on the 12th, will be our Installation of Officers. All Companions should take due notice. There will be refreshments before and after.
All brothers of Annawon Lodge should consider furthering their light and fellowship in Masonry by joining our Chapter. I extend my hand in brotherly love and invite you to inquire.
Fraternally,
Johnny
ANNAWON FELLOWCRAFT CLUB
Brethren & Friends,
I would like to thank all of you that helped with the Easter Baskets that were made March 19 for the kids at St. Louis Church. There will now be 90 happy children!! As you may know the FC Club has made Easter Baskets for around 40 children for the kids at St. Paul’s Church in the past years. When St. Paul’s closed we were unsure whether we would be making Easter Baskets this year. Special thanks to the Brothers and others that helped make this charitable event happen!!
Friday March 30, 2018 at 7pm at the XL Center in Hartford is the CT Freemason Family Day. Tickets are $15. The unique thing this year is that for every ticket sold $5 goes back to the lodge. The FC Club has tickets. For more information or for tickets call Frank 203-606-4959 or Dennis 203-233-2328. I hope you will all plan to attend this event with your family and friends and show your support for our fraternity as well as have a great time. Join us to see the Hartford Wolf Pack battle the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penquins.
Our springtime Beef & Beer Fest is Friday May 4th from 6 – 9pm. This will be a ticketed event. For the ticket price of $25 you will get all-you-can-eat Roast Beef, NY Hard Rolls, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Gravy, Au Jus, Horseradish and all the condiments coupled with ice cold beer on tap. We will have a 50/50 Raffle. This is a public event and fundraiser for the FC Club. Invite your family and friends 21 or older. For tickets or more information call Frank 203-606-4959 or Dennis 203-233-2328. Fellow Craft Club Officers will have tickets also.
As always your participation is the key that unlocks the fun!!!

TEMPLE BUILDING ASSOCIATION
Brothers,
I would like to remind all of you to attend our meeting on April 4, 2018. This is a great time to voice your concerns and opinions to the TBA Board. Our annual TBA meeting will be held on Friday May 18, 2018. Please plan on coming as we need 20 members to reach a minimum quorum to attend in able to open our meeting. If you weren’t able to make our March date to choose your chair (for those who purchased one) you can still do so at one of our TBA meetings. You can still purchase a chair for 250.00 and choose your own spot to have your name put on a metal plate and attached to your chair. Again, I would like to extend our profound thanks to those brothers mentioned in last month’s article for their continued support in keeping our building in tip top shape. Brothers, please be sure to contact the TBA or Vice-chairman if you need to make changes to our building. Please do not remove anything or add anything to our walls without prior permission from the TBA. Remember, all appendant bodies must remember to empty all trash and sweep the floors at the end of their meetings. Another issue that has arisen from time to time is involving our heat. We often come by the lodge and find that the heat has not been turned down the night before. This causes money to heat our building. We would like to reduce rent costs but if all the appendant bodies won’t or can’t keep heating costs down it would make it difficult to reduce rents in the future. We need everyone to help us out with this matter. Looking forward to seeing you at our meetings
Fraternally,
Alan M. Friedman Jr.
Vice-Chairman
