ANNAWON LODGE #115 A.F. & A.M.
Greetings Brethren,
First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you that attended last month’s George Washington Table Lodge. Thirty brothers from Annawon and four visiting lodges attended. It was a GREAT night of brotherly love and fellowship.
At our March 12th Stated Communication, Junior Warden Kyle J. Podpolucha will present a program on the Grand Lodge new rules and regulations on the serving of alcoholic beverages at lodges.
On Saturday, March 17th ALL Annawon Officers are required to attend the Prince Hall Widow Son, #1 Master Mason Degree at the Whitney Avenue Lodge Building in New Haven. We will meet at Annawon at 9:30 that morning and carpool to New Haven. Please plan to be there until late afternoon. It will be well worth your time. In advance of this degree, we will have a mandatory entrance rehearsal on Monday, March 5th at 7:00 pm at the Lodge. There will be NO lodge of instruction for Entered Apprentices that night. Dinner will be provided. Tuxedos with white shirts, white gloves, black bow ties, black socks and black shoes are required for the Prince Hall Master Mason Degree on the 17th. The degree is open to all Master Masons.
Our March 26th Stated Communication will be a business meeting.
Fraternally,
Steven R. Mullins

Dear Sisters and Brothers,
With the arrival of March, we have the promise of the return of Spring and the beginning of another year in our Chapter’s history.
Our meeting on March 1, 2018 will be our Annual Meeting, Election, and Installation of Officers. Dress for officers will be white gowns and tuxedos. All officers are asked to bring refreshments.
(From WP Bruce: It has been a pleasure to serve as Patron again this past year. I am sorry that my Grand Lodge duties will not permit me to be as active as I would like and will prevent me from serving as an officer in the coming year. God bless!)
Fraternally,
Worthy Matron – Jane Thomson, PM
Worthy Patron – Bruce Bellmore, PP
JOSEPH ANDREWS CHAPTER #46, RAM
Companions,
This year, The Grand Chapter has increased the per-capita assessment by three dollars, from fifteen to eighteen dollars. This assessment goes to the Grand Chapter; it is not for use be your Chapter for our expenses.
For several years our Chapter has had expenses which have exceeded our income from dues. In order to meet this increase in the assessment and to reduce our deficit budget we must inform you that our dues and assessments must be increased from forty to forty-six dollars. We have wrestled with the potential consequences of this decision. We are a small Chapter, having fewer that thirty dues paying members. Even with this increase and assuming that all our current members pay their dues, we will still have a short fall in our budget.
We are fortunate to have a core of dedicated members who strive to keep York Rite Masonry alive in West Haven. We welcome your support and suggestions in dealing with the fiscal issues confronting your Chapter.
Our March 8th meeting will include the election of Officers. We have vacancies in the “line”. Please attend this meeting in support of our current and future Officers.
Fraternally,
William Lang, Secretary

TEMPLE BUILDING ASSOCIATION
Hello,
First of all, I would like to invite all the brothers to attend our next meeting which will commence on March 7, 2018 (1st Wednesday of the month) at 7: 30 pm. There has been several unannounced temple clean up days recently where the dining hall and the supply room have been cleaned up. There have also been a few announced cleanups by our Jr. Warden, Kyle Podpolucha, of which few if any brothers showed up to help. Brothers, this is your lodge and not the TBA’s lodge. Please assist our brothers in these cleanups. With this in mind, I would like to give a special shout out to a few brothers who have assisted in the temple cleanups. They are: Brothers James V. Jennette, Kyle Podpolucha and Chris Belous (one of our new EA’s). I would also like to give a shout out to Brother Frank Andriulli who worked on the TBA room. Thank you, brothers, the TBA would like to acknowledge more brothers in the future. Recently, we had some work done to our roof and so far, the bucket has been dry. We are keeping our fingers crossed. The TBA has announced that on Saturday March 17, 2018 we would like all the lodge chair donors to come down to the temple to choose their chair. We will be putting plaques on those chairs on that day for those who come by between 10am and 12 noon. Things are looking up for the TBA and our tenant is coming closer to finishing up and moving in.
