Dinner 5:30 to 8:30.This informal event is always a wonderful opportunity to celebrate with our wives, partners, or significant others. Installation of Officers 2025
On Saturday, December 21st, the new officers for Hiram Lodge No.18 were installed and appointed to their several stations and places in the lodge for 2025 by MWPGM George Greytak and MWPGM Joseph Porco. Also in attendance was RW Deputy Grand Master Rinaldo F. Magliano, Jr. and RW David McClain, District Deputy 2-B. Friends and families were also present at the Sandy Hook lodge and filled the house. New Worshipful Master Stephen J. DelGiudice welcomed and thanked everyone who attended. A fabulous buffet was prepared by Brother Claudio Lea with desserts prepared by the families of the craft.

Enterend Apprentice Degree January 1, 2025
On Wednesday, January 31st, 2025, Worshipful Master Stephen DelGiudice and the Brothers of Hiram Lodge No. 18 initiated their first Entered Apprentice of the year. Our, now Brother, Robert De Oliveira, was treated to an exceptional degree and was brought into the craft in due form. M. W. P. G. M. George Greytak did a wonderful Protocol Lecture that was enjoyed by all.
Fellowcraft Degree May 1, 2024

On May 1, 2024 Worshipful Master Anthony S. Neri and the brothers of Hiram Lodge No. 18 passed three Entered Apprentices to Fellow Crafts at their Lodge in Sandy Hook. They were Brothers Sean Daly, Jose Fuentes and Rabbi Ryan Silveira, who is blind. Also in attendance was MWPGM Joseph J. Porco who witnessed the degree in his own Lodge after a year in the Grand East. Many of the parts of the degree were performed by new Brothers who were in the first class of Brother Porco's "Blue Wave" from last year. A great time was had by all.
Entered Apprentice Degree March 6, 2024

On Wednesday, March 6, 2024 the members of Hiram Lodge No. 18 brought three new brothers into the craft, one of whom is blind. They also brought a candidate from Annawon Lodge No. 115 also into the craft. The new brothers are Ryan Silveira, Andrew Engels and Thomas Nolan from Hiram Lodge and Martin Podsiad from Annawon. The degree was performed by WM Anthony Neri and the craft. Brother Christopher Follen performed a Protocol Lecture that was informative and interesting for the new brothers. Also in attendance was District Deputy, 2-B, R.W. David McClaine. Another visitor was W.B. Andrew Haslam from Hiram Lodge No. 180, F.& A.M. from South Portland, Maine who was in the area and happened to stop by. The degree was enjoyed by all.
Entered Apprentice Degree March 27, 2024

On Wednesday, March 27th, some Brothers from Annawon Lodge #115 in West Haven travelled with two candidates to join with two candidates at Hiram Lodge #18 in Sandy Hook to perform a joint Entered Appretice degree. Dinner was enjoyed by all and the smiles on everyones faces says it all. Masonry is a team sport. A great degree was performed by Worshipful Master Tony Neri and his degree team. Worshipful Master Joseph McVety of Annawon Lodge also assisted in the degree. Also in attendance was RWB David McClain, District Deputy of District 2-B.
Ladies Appreciation Day Dinner
On February 25, the brothers of Hiram Lodge No. 18 held a Ladies Appreciation Day Dinner at Toro Restaurant in Sandy Hook. A great time was had by all with plenty of food, refreshments and camaraderie. The MWGM Joseph J. Porco was also present.
Master Mason Degree February 21, 2024
On February 21, 2024, Worshipful Master Anthony S. Neri and the brothers of Hiram Lodge No. 18 in Sandy Hook raised two of their Fellow Craft to the sublime degree of Master Masons. They were brothers Deneon DeSales and Rohit Anand. Also in attendance in his own lodge were M. W. G. M. Joseph J. Porco and District Deputy R. W. David McClain.
A New Year – A New Brother

As the Brothers of Hiram Lodge No. 18 came together on January 17th, they started off the New Year in a very special way. Mr. Dylan Reed entered the lodge with friends but left with Brothers. The brethren in Sandy Hook, CT performed an Entered Apprentice Degree, making Brother Dylan the first new member of Hiram to join in 2024. The Degree was performed by Worshipful Master Anthony Neri, Past District Deputy – at- Large, as the Brothers of Hiram 18 brought in the New Year with their new Brother.
December 3rd. Sandy Hook tree lighting & Open House at Hiram Lodge No. 18. 3:00pm our doors will be open to the public. Ceremonies begin 4:00pm. Santa arrives 5:00pm. Tree lighting 6:00pm. Our members will be bringing refreshments and cheer!
December 7th. Annual meeting and election of officers. Lodge opens 7:30pm.
Dec 21st. Installation of officers. Dinner 6:00 or so. Lodge opens 7:30pm.

Event - Monday, April 11th 2022 @ Annawon Lodge No. 115 - Several Brothers from Hiram #18 will be traveling to Annawon Lodge in West Haven, CT for a dinner and presentation on St. John the Baptist and on the St. John the Evangelist. If you are interested in joining us, we will be meeting at the Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 34 in Monroe, near the dam at 6 PM to carpool. Let’s show our support to our Brothers from Annawon Lodge.
