When Freemason, George Washington, was starting his second term as President of the United States, brothers from New Milford had been taking the long trip by horse and carriage to meet at King Solomon's Lodge No. 7 in Woodbury, CT for some time. But in February of 1792, The Grand Lodge of Connecticut granted a charter to St. Peter's Lodge No. 21 to meet in New Milford. Like all Masons, our tradition is a source of pride.
