Food Trucks Wanted!
2024 Woodstock Fair Weekend. August 30, 2024 - September 2, 2024
We are a Masonic Lodge and 501c non-profit organization. We have in past years parked cars on our property which is located directly in front of the Woodstock fairgrounds and separated by a chain link fence. The Lodge property is located between the Main Gate and Gate immediately north of the main gate, 265 Route 169 South Woodstock. The Lodge property has tremendous foot traffic in front of and alongside at the entrance to the fair.
In lieu of our usual parking of cars over the four day weekend we are soliciting food trucks to occupy our property for the weekend and effectively create a food court. We can accept approx. 10 food trucks comfortably, perhaps a few more. We are willing to discuss location(s) with interested vendors.
The details which we are finalizing at the time of writing this are:
1. Vendor cost to rent a spot for the four day weekend is $1000.00. A deposit of ½ upfront will hold the spot and the second ½ would be due no less than 1 week prior to the fair.
2. Vendors must be self-contained for electrical, water, and other needs.
3. Vendors must have their own insurance and be willing to name Putnam Lodge 46 and the Masonic Building Corp of Woodstock Ct as secondary insured.
4. Vendors are solely responsible for obtaining and complying with permits and inspections required by the health dept and/or town of Woodstock Ct
5. We will be providing a contract for the parties which must be executed along with the deposit to hold the space.
6. The Lodge and Building Corporation will provide Porto potties and additional lighting.
7. The Lodge will provide garbage containers and maintain them during the weekend.
8. The Lodge will provide chairs and tables for the purpose of your patrons consuming their food and beverages.
9. The Lodge will advertise the food court on our sign and other means at our discretion.
