I would like to extend a hardy thank you to all those who once again went above and beyond the call of duty to help and support our annual steak outing. The wrist bands and handing out of the alcoholic refreshments went off without a hitch and I hope that we will continue to follow those same procedures in the years to come. The past year has enlightened me to some of our lodges’ quarks, some good and some not so good, and helped to reinforce some of my beliefs in Freemasonry as well as open my eyes to how many of our brothers view Freemasonry. Each of us must find our own path in Freemasonry and decide what it is that freemasonry means to us and how we apply it to the world. I am glad to have served as your Worshipful Master and it is a memory that will stay with me forever. As we approach the second half of the year I would encourage you all to reach out to brothers that you have not seen in lodge for a while and let them know that they are missed and that we have some pretty fun things set for the remaining year. I leave you with this ” in the end it is not the years in your life that count it is the life in your years” so go live life and enjoy!

Fraternally, John Hodgdon IV
