Worshipful Master's Message - Kenly Lodge #257
April 24, 2025
Brethren of Kenly Lodge #257,
It is my sincere hope that this message finds each of you well.
Please note the 2025 Lodge Feed Committee roster for the remainder of the year is attached to this message. My apologies for the delayed communication.
Moving forward, all members are now part of the Feed Committee for 2025. This serves several purposes: to share responsibilities equitably, to personally connect with each member to say hello and extend an invitation to lodge meetings, and to ensure your contact information is current for ongoing lodge updates.
We understand schedules vary and attendance during your assigned month may not always be possible. However, we kindly ask all members to contribute to the cost if able. If a contribution isn't feasible, please simply inform the calling brother. If you can contribute but will be unavailable, please contact me directly. Your support significantly eases the burden on our brethren.
Looking forward to seeing you at the lodge soon. For any questions, please call me at 919-763-6109.
Fraternally,
Mike Carson, Master Kenly Lodge #257

On behalf of the Master, Wardens, and Brethren of Kenly Lodge # 257, it is my sad duty to inform you of the passing of Brother Dennie Ray Bridgers who dropped forever the working tools of life on Thursday, March 27th, 2025. Brother Dennie Ray Bridgers was initiated on February 7th, 1978, was passed to the degree of FellowCraft on May 16th, 1978; and was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason on February 6th, 1979. After contacting his family, they have opted to not have Masonic rites. He will have a graveside service on, Sunday, March 30th at 2PM in the Langley-Danie Cemetery. Friends will be received following the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kenly Funeral Services and online condolences can be sent through www.kenlyfs.com. Please keep the family of Brother Dennis Ray Bridgers in your prayers. Soft and safe to you, my Brother, be this mortal bed, bright and beautiful may be thy rising from it. May the sprig of Acacia here flourish. May the earliest buds of spring unfold their beauty over this thy resting place and here may the fragrance of the summers last rose linger longest. Though the cold blast of autumn may lay them in the dust and for a time destroy their loveliness, yet their fading is not final and in the springtime, they will surely bloom again. Till the bright morn of the world’s resurrection when thy mortal frame now laid in the dust shall rise to immortal beauty in realms beyond the skies, where we will surely meet again! |

Brethren, We have a scheduled communication Tuesday night, 11/05/2024. Below you will find the consent agenda for the meeting. Please look over the material prior to the meeting so you are prepared to act on it in the meeting. If you have anything you would like to have published in the Consent Agenda, please send it to the Secretary by the Saturday before the meeting. These can include motions or just informational items. If there is anything that someone thinks requires discussion, it can be discussed before voting on the Consent Agenda or that item can be pulled out of the Consent Agenda and voted on separately. Items such as the By-Law amendments, the Annual Budget or a Dues increase will NOT be voted on as part of any Consent Agenda. These items will be taken up separately and individually. Brethren we are to streamline our meetings and make them more interesting as opposed to just business meetings. We look forward to your feedback.
