Brothers Needed 7/26: Masonic Funeral on 07/23/2026
Cataract No. 2 Grand Lodge Of Minnesota |
Brethren, One of the core tenants of Masonry is the support of brothers, their widows, and orphans. This Sunday, we are needed to carry on that tradition to support a late brother’s surviving family. The family of John Glassburg, a Cataract Brother, is requesting a graveside masonic memorial service on Sunday, July 26 at 10AM at Temple Israel Memorial Cemetery. Please RSVP with WB Joel so we can confirm attendance numbers. Thank you in advance, Brothers! |
High Five for Supplies on 07/09/2026
- Cataract No. 2
Grand Lodge Of Minnesota, A.F. & A.M.High Five for SuppliesIt's that time of year again. I've been communicating with Dina and Mandi about this year's supply distribution. For those not familiar with this program, it was developed by the Simon Says Give (simonsaysgive.org) organization to distribute school supplys to schools and kids who might need them. Cataract has been contributing to this program for several years now and they, in turn, have supplied us with kits and back packs for our own distribution. Last year they gave us 400 kits for K-5 students and 200 for 6-12. Don't know that we will need that many this year but it would be nice to get an estimate about how many we can distribute. Let know if you can help out with this and how many kits you may need to distribute yourself. Dina informed me they could be ready to pickup by July 22. We can get more after that as well if needed. Let me know by text (612) 232-8914 or e-mail cat2schwab@aol.com.

Masons, a Night to Remember! on 04/18/2026
Cataract No. 2 Grand Lodge Of Minnesota, A.F. & A.M. |
| Ahoy, Brethren! WB Mark Campbell sent me over this wonderful article about our dear brothers who were present on the Titanic. As Mark himself recently said, if you look at any important event you will inevitably find a Mason! It is also worth noting that Mark did send it on the actual 114th anniversary (April 15th) and any delay may or may not have had anything to do with... technical issues? It's the best excuse I could come up with. https://www.thesquaremagazine. Fraternally, Br. Cody Rasbury |
