On behalf of all of the Warren Lodge officers and Myself, we’d like to wish all our Brothers, their families and Friends of Warren Lodge a very Happy Easter! I also have some updates. First, I’d like to officially announce that Brother James H. Landry has been informed by the Most Worshipful Grand Master Stephen Petri to assume his duties as our Right Worshipful District Deputy for District 7A even though he wasn’t able to officially install him at our annual Stated Communication of the Grand Lodge earlier this month. Once the Covid restrictions are lifted, Most Worshipful Petri will hold an official installation for RWB Landry and his AGM Bro. Chip Seagrave. I’d also like you all to keep all of our brothers in our thoughts and/or prayers who have been ill and the families of those who have recently passed. These times have been especially rough on them and their families. Until we can meet again, please continue to be safe and healthy and we will see you all soon. WM Michael S. Masselli
BROTHERS ALL
It is with great regret that I inform you that our Brother, Right Worshiful Brother Richard R Washburn PDD has passed on to that building not made with hands eternal in the heavens. I just spoke to his daughter who informed me that he seemed in good spirits and ready to move on from his earthly ties after a recent visit from Brothers on Sunday. Jr Warden Brother David L Rutter jr, Marshal WB Jack Sterry sr, Deputy Grand Master Rinaldo F Magliano jr and myself made the trip to his East Hartford home to deliver his 50 year pin. It occurred to me his Masonic anniversary was in June and as one last Masonic gesture of gratitude I reached out to the Grand lodge and was elated to hear the news that it was arranged. We had a pleasant although somber visit as our Warren lodge brother RWB Washburn was nearly unresponsive except for a few touching smiles and nods. His wife Patricia lovingly pinned his 50th on his chest. His daughter remarked he touched it often in the recent 24 hours before his passing. Bro Rutter reminded me of the EA degree and how RWB Washburn would always recite a particular story about the building of a bridge and how the older mason’s build it for the younger masons. It was a touching sentiment and made me reflect on the bridge Brother Washburn built for us all.
I will deliver the Masonic funeral information as it is received. Pray for our brother and his family.
God speed.

Brothers All,
We just wanted to invite you to our Thursday meeting…
We dine at the Portland Ale House at 6 PM if you'd like to join us… meal will be covered by the lodge. Casual attire is fine.
Afterwards, we head back to the lodge 12 Freestone avenue where we have Bro Kyle Podpolucha doing a Lecture on the entered apprentice symbolism…
We skip most of the boring business and get straight to the interesting stuff... so you have a opportunity for a lovely meal, a lovely get together with brothers, and then back to the real world.
If you'd like to join us for one or both if you could just let me know.
Ps EAs are welcome
