A word from our Worshipful Master…

Dear Brothers,

Greetings Brethren of Warren Lodge #51! As I sit here and write this address, it occurred to me that it seems like forever since I’ve seen many of you at our awards night in June, yet in the same thought, this summer appears to have moved at warp speed and is almost over already. Funny how time works. I do hope that all of you had an enjoyable summer and were able to enjoy the time with friends and family while keeping yourselves and your families safe. With that being said, our summer break is also coming to an end and so begins our Masonic work in Lodge with our next meeting scheduled for Thursday, September 2nd at 7:30pm. This meeting is usually planned as the Master’s dinner so unless the State of CT and or Grand Lodge make any changes to the restrictions, we will have hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill that evening. We don’t have a lot planned over the next few months, however this month on Saturday, Sept. 25th, St. John’s Lodge will be hosting a Table Lodge. We will announce and get a head count for it at the September 2nd meeting. If you have not attended a Table Lodge it offers the ability to have some great food, fun and fellowship among our brethren from all the 7th district lodges. We will be planning an EA degree for our inspection in Oct or Nov as well. As always, I look forward to seeing you on Sept. 2nd as we look forward to ramping up the remainder of our year.
