Our Favorite Masonic Charities

The Connecticut DeMolay Foundation / CT DeMolay • DeMolay is an international youth organization for boys ages 12 to 21. Our state has a number of individual chapters where young men learn leadership and organizational skills. They learn public speaking and create opportunities for civic service and self improvement. We think its a fantastic program for boys and is available in five chapters locally. New Haven, North Haven, West Haven. Milford and Shelton.

The Children’s Dyslexia Center • Located in Waterbury, Hartford and Bridgeport, these special schools and the program for kids with dyslexia, services the entire state of Connecticut. This unique program, gives the kids reading help and strategies to help them continue their education and become confident readers and learners. The program is nation wide, but we focus our attention right here in Connecticut and are proud to help support the schools in our state.

The CT CHIP program • The Grand Lodge of Connecticut sponsors this “Child Identification” program around the state at different events. Volunteers from all masonic affiliations help to create ID packets for each kid that parents can use in case that child goes missing. This program is endorsed by law enforcement and public officials nation wide as being a real tool to help recover missing children.

Masonicare, Quality of Life Fund • Located in Wallingford, Masonicare and all it's campuses and facilities host many folks who are on State funded care. Many times they don't have the means to buy medical and personal items not covered by Medicare. This fund helps to allow independence by assisting with the cost of those items. We are happy to help support Masonicare and their mission to assist people from independence living to full service facilities.
