Franklinton No. 123 Grand Lodge Of North Carolina, A.F. & A.M. |
Good morning Brothers This text was received this morning and after she conversation, Granville Lodge is going to contribute to this cause. The text is copied from Brother Dustin Baker "Good morning brothers, Myself and a few others are planning to head west on Thursday with equipment, food, water supplies etc to help the mans. It is much worse than is being shown the media because they aren't letting most of them in as there are thousands missing. Anyone that may want to donate food or fuel or cases of water let me know. We are taking all we can. We have some local guys from wake forest FD and also Youngsville FD I've been in contact with getting this info". Anyone that wants to contribute please get up with Dustin or any other Granville member, I believe that we can collect at the Granville lodge and help Dustin get loaded Thursday. Please be in prayer for the people that are affected as well as the first responders and rescuers that are in this catastrophe. |

Brothers There is a very urgent need for assistance at WG Arnold Lodge in Rolesville They are desperately trying to raise a couple of new bothers and need some help. Please understand they are few and some of them have never witnessed a MM degree in their lodge. They are confident they can fill the first section, the second is where we come in. There is need for someone to fill the East, West, 1st and 2nd ruffian, #1 fellow craft and the lecture. Please respond to me at Rylandgrissom@outlook.com with a part that you know and would be able to fill. They are planning to cover this degree on Saturday Oct 5, 2024 so there may not be much practice, if you can fill a role, show up and be ready on Saturday. Please respond ASAP and lets help these brothers welcome are members to the fraternity. |
Good Morning Brothers,
Brethren, I hope that this finds you well. The Children's Home in Oxford is in the process of replacing the aging furniture in each of the bedroom for the children. In a continued effort to support our home, each lodge in the 13th district has been asked to consider sponsoring a room. To show our support for the home we decided that we as a lodge would attempt to collect the money for this project by passing the hat. The total cost of the project is $2000. Our lodge collected $600 last month in getting us on our way of meeting this goal. We will be passing the hat each month to collect funds for this project. We ask that you give as you are able and feel lead towards this worthy project.
Also, we will have our Official Visit from our District 13 Officers. It would be great to have a large crowd to show support for our officers not only in our lodge but also District13. As the norm, we will have a meal at 6:30 with the gavel drops at 7:30. We would love to see each of you.
Fraternally,
Bradley Grissom
Good Morning Brothers,
The Grand Lodge is transiting to a new web-based membership database which will require EVERY brother to sign in and create a member profile. If you would please take about 5 minutes to set this up it would be a great help to me as well as your lodge. The ilink is http://nc.grandview.systems. Once this page is up and running you will be able to find minutes of meetings as well as other important information about YOUR lodge. This is a work in progress, and has a severe learning curve for Nat and I, however with you patience and assistance, I think that this will be something good for the brothers.
The information that you will need to complete this is on your dues card. You will need you lodge number, masonic number and last name. If you have nay issues or need help getting this done, I will be happy to help you at any stated meeting.
Also, If you are waiting for your dues card for 2023, I will be mailing those out this week.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Bradley Grissom
