Welcome to Brainard No. 102!
Chartered by the Grand Lodge of Connecticut in 1789, Brainard Lodge received its Dispensation on June 11, 1867, and has been proudly active ever since. While many of our Brothers come from Niantic, Waterford, New London, and surrounding communities, our membership extends across Central Connecticut and beyond.
The Brothers of Brainard Lodge meet @ 7:30pm on the Second and Fourth Tuesdays monthly, except July and August.
Like all Masons, we are committed to strengthening our communities and supporting neighbors in need. Our charitable work includes contributions to the local food pantry, college scholarship programs, the Connecticut Masonic Foundation, the Boy Scouts of America, and other meaningful causes. One of our most cherished traditions is our Annual Thanksgiving Breakfast.
We also proudly host our Annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.

Past Events
On Tuesday March 25th, Brainard lodge admitted three new Brothers during its Annual Inspection, led by WM Craig Pedro and his line of officers.
Brainard Lodge hosted its Annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner on March 8, 2025, from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. The event was a success, bringing together 33 attendees for an afternoon of great food and fellowship.
On Saturday December 7th, Brainard Lodge #102 participated in Outer Light Brewing Company's 4th Annual Toy Drive for the Tommy Toy Fund. In all, Brainard donated more than $700 worth of toys to children in need.
On Tuesday July 23rd, Brothers of Brainard Lodge held a special summer session Fellowcraft degree.
Brainard Lodge #102 hosted a fantastic Strawberry Festival in June. The annual event was a delightful success, filled with delicious strawberries, great company, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made it special. (Photo by Ray Greer)
On Tuesday, June 11, 2024, Brainard Lodge celebrated its 157th anniversary with the raising of four Brothers to the sublime degree of Master Mason.
A new Brother was initiated on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
Several new Brothers were initiated on Tuesday, September 26, 2023.
Several Brothers from Brainard Lodge were initiated as Nobles in the Sphinx Shriners on Saturday May 6, 2023.
On Saturday March 11th, 2023 we hosted our annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner.
Congrats to our newest Brother Ryan! Thanks to all who came out to attend his EA Degree on January 25, 2023, and many thanks to our 2023 Officers.
Brothers gathered on Tuesday October 25, 2022 to present an amazing Master Mason Degree.
Brainard Brothers presented an amazing Fellowcraft Degree on Tuesday May 24, 2022.
Brainard Brothers were honored to attend the special Garibaldi Lodge 542 EA Degree in New York City on Friday May 6, 2022.
