| Dear Brothers, It is with profound sadness that I inform you of the passing of our brother, Melvin Foster Fowler, on April 14, 2025. Brother Fowler was born on 5/20/1945 and passed away just 5 weeks shy of his 80th birthday. He was raised on 7/16/1970 and served 54.75 years as a Master Mason. I had the privilege of presenting his 50-year service award to him in February at his home, in the presence of his wife, Sandra. His visitation was held today, April 17, 2025, at the Strickland Funeral Home, with graveside services immediately following. His family did not request Masonic Funeral Rites, but I attended his visitation to express our Lodge's condolences. | Brethren, The Grand Master, MWB Bobby Rideout, will be holding his district meeting for the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 19th Districts, in Raleigh, NC on 01/09/2025. Please register using the link below, so the host lodge will know how many are attending. https://nc.grandview.systems/events/5002 The meeting will be held at 6015 Lead Mine Road, Raleigh, NC 27612 and will begin at 7:00 PM. The occasion is Business Attire. The Grand Master will be received shortly after the lodge opens at 7:00 PM. The host district/lodge will provide dinner from Bronco Tacos, beginning at 6:00 PM and it will be served beforehand, where essential announcements will also be shared. Meal for Dec 12th meeting on 12/05/2023
Brethren, our December 12th evening meal at 6:30 pm will be an “open dish” (or “pot luck” ). We will be serving in the dining area (or mess hall or galley) of Wendell Lodge 565. WB Mike Cashion's funeral info on 10/26/2023
WB Mike Cashion...PM of WG Hill 218 and past DDGM of the 14th District has passed. Services will be held at the LDS church in Morrisville at 11:00 am on Sat 10/28. Masonic Rites will immediately follow and a strong presence is greatly appreciated. A luncheon will be held at the church afterward.
