Brethren, We have our installation of officers for the 2025 calendar year scheduled for 9:00 AM on January 11, 2025, with a brief reception starting at 8:30 AM. We open and close the emergent communication for the purpose of installing the officers, then open the lodge room to all. | Greetings Brethren, First off, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope this email finds you well. Here are a few important updates from the lodge and information on how to pay your dues. New Stated Communication Start Time Beginning in 2025, we have adjusted our start time for stated communications to begin at 7:00 PM. We hope the earlier start time is more convenient for you and your families. Our stated communications take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. We only meet on the second Tuesday of December due to the Christmas holiday, so we will not meet again this year. Officer Installation Ceremony The installation of our 2025 officers will take place at 8:30 AM on January 11, 2025. A brief reception begins at 8:30 and the installation ceremony begins at 9:00 AM sharp. Your officers for 2025 are: Worshipful Master: Ron Early Senior Warden: Richard Sobien Junior Warden: Mitch Hamm Treasurer: Jim Schoff Secretary: Blase Kusterle Senior Deacon: Harold Duncan Junior Deacon: Chris Yarletts Senior Steward: Nick Turner Junior Steward: Jamie Bates Chaplain: Earl Creutzburg Tyler: David Hodge 2025 Dues Information According to regulation 77-3 of the Code, "All dues of members to subordinate lodges shall be due and payable annually in advance on January first each year." You can pay your dues either by sending a check to the address below. Wake Forest Lodge #282 PO Box 282 Wake Forest, NC 27588 Or you can pay your dues online by logging in to https://nc.grandview.systems/users/sign_in ( or scan the QR code below with your mobile phone). If you have already registered, but have not logged in for a while, Grand View now has two-factor authentication, so you will be prompted to receive a one-time code sent to either your mobile phone or email account. If you have not previously registered, click on the link that says "Sign up". You will need your Lodge Number (282), Member ID (number only, omitting leading zeros; this can be found on your dues card), and your last name. Once you are logged in, you will see some tiles on your dashboard with various links. Below that you should see a banner with your current balance. If you have not paid your dues for 2025 yet, you will see the following: (If you have not paid your 2024 dues yet, your balance should be $272.00.) Click on that banner to pay your dues online. There is a small processing fee which will also be applied. Wake Forest Lodge does not receive that processing fee; only the balance due. If your contact information is not correct you may not be able to receive the one-time passcode when you try to login. If you have trouble registering, logging in, or need your contact information updated, please reach out to me at wflodge282@gmail.com. Keep up with Wake Forest Lodge #282 All of our meeting minutes are uploaded to Grand View and viewable by all lodge members. This is just another perk to registering and logging in to Grand View. Meeting Minutes can be found by navigating to the "Lodge" link once logged in and navigating to the File Vault and selecting the "Minutes" folder. The minutes are organized by YYYY-MM-DD format so you can quickly find the date. This places the most recently updated minutes near the bottom of the page.
