| Brothers of Mt Rushmore Lodge #220 On Behalf of Worshipful Master Chris McKiven I hope this message finds you well and in good spirits. in the the attached packet you can read what has been going on with the building. On Feb 19th the Building Association will be voting on whether to Sell or Continue to attempt to restore our building. The reason for this message is that we ( the lodge officers and appointed ) would like the opinion good or bad of all the brothers on what we should do. The way that the association works is our lodge has 3 trustees that speak for are lodge at these meetings however, this being such a monumental decision they would like everyone's thoughts on what direction we will go. Their are a lot of un answered questions that will be asked but for now the main 2 in my opinion are 1. What is the building worth? we have no Idea. If they choose to sell than they will look further into this will come up with a number. 2. Where would the money go? as of right now it is my understanding that the RCMBA would use it to purchase, rent, or build another building for us. remember brothers this is all in the infancy stage, there is a lot more steps to be taken before we do what our RCMBA decides to do. We would like your thoughts on the matter at hand. Please email myself with your responses at Bcole94@gmail.com they will be kept anonymous and I will pass them on to our trustees so the may be better informed. or better yet come to our stated meeting on Feb 13 gather for coffee and cussing at 6 meeting at 7 and check out what has been happing with the building. and join in on the building discussion. By order of the Master, We will have Lodge tonight at 7PM but, still no Degree. All MM, FC and EA are invited.
We will attempt to do the Master Mason Degree on March 23.
Also, All EAs please try and clear your Calender for April 14-15th for your next degrees.
