Brethren,
I'm really excited about honing our ritual work this year.
We are fortunate to have some excellent ritualists in our lodge already as well as some newer Masons ready to start learning.
The DDGM sent out an email about a program this year and I think we should have as many of us there as possible.
Because I'm lazy, I'm just going to paste his email below.
RE: Ritual Restoration Symposiums
There will be half day events that happen 7 times across the state starting
soon. We are invited to 2 of them listed below. There will be a link that
comes out on Grandview to register for the event. Once that’s available I’ll
communicate it to you and all the brethren, for now I need you to
communicate this to your master masons. All master masons are invited from
every lodge so register quickly when it’s available. This event also counts
towards Lion & Pillar for your lodge.
Breakfast at 8am, by 8:45am we’ll break out into smaller groups, and we’ll
concentrate on the red work and make sure ritual is performed as correctly
as possible. Bring something to write with so you can jot down a question
and all questions will be answered at the end to wrap up before lunch.
As this may be a refresher for you, it’s very important to make sure your
less tenured master masons attend one of these events and that you support
them and go with them. It’s also a great time for camaraderie.
The cost is $35 and that covers breakfast and lunch. Lunch will wrap up
around 1pm and you’re free to go after that.
* Saturday, March 16th at the Winston Salem Masonic Center, we’ll join
districts 22,23,24,25,26,27,30, & 33. Address is 4537 Country Club Rd.
Winson-Salem NC 27104
We can work out the details as it gets closer, but save March 16th in your calendars!!
Caritas,
Jay
