Brethren,

To assist everyone in planning for the year ahead, the Lodge officers have outlined several events for 2026. Please place these dates on your calendar and plan to participate where you are able. Many of these activities support our widows, veterans, first responders, and the broader community, and they represent Masonry in action.

2026 Planned Lodge Events:

Every 4th Monday the lodge holds a breakfast. 

April 4 – Easter celebration / Gold Star Ladies and Families Gathering
2:00 PM at the Lodge. This event honors our Gold Star Ladies and provides fellowship for their families. Pork tenderloins and Chicken will be served.  We will have Wo. Brother Rev. Lindsey Austin to come present about the resurrection story. 

May 7 – Taco Truck Fellowship Night
6:00 PM at the Lodge. Cost will be $18 per person. Please note the meal service may run slightly longer as everyone finishes eating.

July 2nd (Stated meeting) – Independence Day Observance (250th Anniversary)
A brief observance recognizing the nation’s founding. Dustin’s daughter will offer the Toast to the Flag.

August 14–16 – Tenn Cave Degree Trip
Depart 8:00 AM on August 14.
Return afternoon of August 16.

September – Grand Lodge Annual Communication
Details will be provided once the official schedule is released.

October 24 – First Responders Appreciation Lunch
Preparation will begin immediately after the Lodge monthly breakfast. This event supports the firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, and first responders who serve our community.

November 5 – Thanksgiving Dinner (Stated Meeting)
Dinner prepared by Sabrina and Tiffanie.

November 7 – Veterans Appreciation Dinner
2:00 PM at the Lodge.

December 5 – Gold Star Ladies Dinner & Deliveries

• 9:00 AM: Deliver poinsettias and fruit baskets

• 2:00 PM: Dinner with our Gold Star Ladies

December 13 – Christmas Observance
2:00 PM at the Lodge.

December 19 – Wreaths Across America
11:00 AM at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.

December 21–22 – Christmas Gift Deliveries
Dates are tentative and will be confirmed closer to the event.

Brethren, these events reflect our commitment to fellowship, charity, and service. Your participation helps strengthen our Lodge and the community we serve.

Monroe Masonic Lodge No. 244

Brothers,

Monroe Lodge No. 244 will be participating in the 55th Annual Cave Degree to be held in August at Union Lodge No. 38, Kingston, Tennessee. Monroe will be exhibiting the Third Degree, and this year’s event is especially notable as Most Worshipful Grand Master Steve Norris will be actively participating, along with several members of the Grand Line.

To properly present the degree, we will need volunteers from Monroe to assist. If you are able, please consider traveling with us to support this work.

Brethren who have attended in the past consistently return with great stories of the fellowship, the new friendships formed, and - of course - the food. It is a memorable experience and a unique opportunity to represent our Lodge.

Monroe typically secures a block of rooms at a local hotel for those attending.
