Funeral service will be held at Mt. Sylvan United Methodist Church at 2:00pm. on February 7th. The visitation for the family will be held at 3:00pm after the service at the church.

I am sad to report that I have just been informed of the death of Brother David Eddie Hill, a member of Durham Lodge No. 352, A.F. & A.M.  He passed away on June 29, 2023 and was 74 years old.  Funeral Services were held for him on July 6, 2023.

Brethren, this Wednesday night at our stated meeting, we will be having our Past Masters and Awards Night. Dinner will be provided by our Eastern Star Chapter and dinner starts at 6pm with the meeting starting at 7pm. There is no charge for the dinner. 

The servcie awards presentation will be done during the dinner so the Brother's familys can attend. The two Brothers that will be in attendance to receive their awards are W. Brother Terry Mangum and Brother Rodney Bright. Brother Thomas Trish also was awarded his 50 year award but will not be in attendance.

The funeral service will be at 11am on Saturday, September 2nd at Olive Branch Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetary with Masonic Rites. The family will recieve friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, September 1st at Clements Funeral Home in Durham.

Brethren, please pray for Brother Bobby. I just spoke with his wife, Jan. Bobby was admitted to Duke Regional Hospital 2 weeks ago and has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He is having a rough time of it right now. I will keep everyone posted as I get updates.
