I’d like to welcome you to Composite Lodge #28’s public website.  I am the Worshipful Master for 2022 and on behalf of all of my officers I offer up the following:

You might have seen us out and about in region, be it our Chicken BBQ in June, the Car Show at Hill Top Farms, parades or in the polish food booth and fried dough booth for Suffield on the Green, Composite Lodge #28 does its best to be a strong presence in the community.

You might have been drawn to this page from our visible presence or just from curiosity about what “we” are exactly.  We are a masonic lodge (Freemasons) operating under the Grand Lodge of CT A.F.&A.M. and have been located in the Suffield/Enfield/Windsor Locks/East Windsor regions for over 225 years.  

The Freemasons are the world’s oldest and largest fraternal organization, originating out of the UK in 1717 and having spread throughout the world.  While many other bodies exist within the Craft (Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shriners) it is through the Blue Lodge that one can start their masonic journey.

Men of good moral character seeking to better themselves through the bonds of brotherhood are always welcome to knock on our door.
