| Brethren, We will be conferring a Master Mason's Degree on Monday, August 26th. Meal At 6:30 Degree to begin at 7:30. We will Hold Practice on Thursday August 22nd at 6:30 p.m. at the lodge and on Sunday Afternoon, August 25th, at 2:30 p.m. We need as many brothers to come out as possible for both Practice and the Degree. Making new Master Masons is one of the greatest things we do to provide that common Bond among Brothers. Come out to help this brother in His journey. Hope to see you there. | Brothers, As many of you may have heard, Brother William Dennis Wright laid down his working tools on Saturday, July 27th. Brother Dennis was a 51-year member of Cherryville Lodge. His funeral services will be as follows: Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5th at Carpenter-Porter Funeral Home in Cherryville. Brothers, this is our Stated Meeting Night, but it would be good if a group of us could be there right when the doors open prior to our attending lodge. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 6th at 2:00p.m. at Missionary Methodist Church of Cherryville. 318 West Ballard Street Cherryville. Rev Bobby Holtsclaw will Officiate. Burial will follow with Masonic Rites at City Memorial Cemetary. Please come out to assist with last rights. Family will provide Pall Bearers. We will meet at Cherryville Lodge at 1:00 p.m. to get aprons, sprigs, and other necessities, if you are planning to attend the funeral service. Otherwise, please be at the City Cemetary by 2:45. |

Brother Hubert's family has requested Masonic Rites; services will be at Hollywood Cemetery on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024.

Obituary information for Hubert A. Jenkins (mcleanfuneral.com)
Hubert A. Jenkins passed away April 14, 2024 at Brookdale Assisted Living. Hubert was born in Graham County, NC on January 14, 1935 to the late William Horace Jenkins and Florence Edna Jenkins.
Hubert worked for the City of Gastonia for 30 years before retiring in September of 1993. Hubert loved his church, Modena Street Baptist, before becoming unable to attend.
Hubert and his wife Rosa Stepp Jenkins loved going to estate sales, auctions, and yard sales for many years and enjoyed this more than anything. He always enjoyed planting his flowers every year in the spring.
Hubert is survived by his stepchildren Patricia S. Lewis (Randy), Ann S. Bradshaw (Johnnie) and Starr Stepp. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, 8 nieces and 3 nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rosa Stepp Jenkins; stepson James Stepp (Spud); brothers Kenneth James Jenkins, Julius Charles Jenkins and Junior Jenkins; and sisters Genevieve Cable and Lenore Jenkins.
A visitation will be held 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia. A service will follow at 4:00 pmin Founders Chapel of McLean Funeral Directors with Reverend Joey Denton officiating. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery with Masonic Rites for Hubert who was a Mason for 52 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Masonic Lodge 369, A.F. & A.M, PO Box 1383, Gastonia, NC 28053.

Home located at 1100 East Main Street in Cherryville at 3:00 PM Sunday March 4, 2024. Burial will follow at the City Cemetery with Masonic Rites to be
conducted by WBro Matt Jones. Brothers who plan to attend graveside are asked to meet at the lodge between 3:15 and 3:30 to recieve sprigs, gloves and aprons before
going to the cemetery. Please make an effort to attend and pay last respects for our departed brother and his family. For those who wish to attend the chapel service
sprigs, gloves and aprons will be at graveside as well. Please be aware there are two funerals being conducted in the cemetery and you will need to look for the Wise site.

As many of you may know he was in an assisted living facility in Gastonia as a result of his illness. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday at Greene Funeral home in Gastonia. Graveside service will be on Monday at 11:00 AM at Gaston Memorial Park on South New Hope Road with MWBro Mac Sigmon Conducting the Masonic Rites. Please remember his wife Karen in your devotions.

Brethren, the newly elected officers of Cherryville Lodge 505 will be installed at our stated meeting on December 4th. There will be a meal at 6:30 at a cost of $10 per person. The Lodge will open on a Master Mason degree for an abbreviated meeting expected to be around thirty minutes, after which the Officers for 2024 will be officially installed. The meal and installation ceremony is open to all Masons and there families. We look forward to seeing you there!

Brethren, we had a great turnout for the first evening of our school of instruction. We covered a lot of information and had some great discussions about Masonic ritual and how it affects the way we interact with each other. Please join us Thursday night for the last half of our instruction. We will look at conferring degrees in emergent communication, ballotring and more. We look forward to seeing you at 6:30 Thursday evening for the final 2 1/2 hours of our instruction. We will have a meal for the cost of any donation.
Brothers, our annual school of instruction is scheduled for Tuesday April 18 and Thursday April 20. We will meet each evenening at 6:30 and school will be 2 1/2 hours. We need 5 officers and 2 members to comply with the rules governing School of Intruction. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. Thank you Brothers!
