Good Morning, Brothers and Sisters, The Grand Lodge and Grand Chapter Medical Teams look forward to welcoming each of you to Nashville! As you prepare for your travels, please remember to bring at least a one-week supply of all prescription medications you take regularly. We will not be writing prescriptions for controlled substances during the Grand Session, so please ensure you bring an adequate supply of those medications with you. We also encourage you to bring a current list of your medications, allergies, and medical conditions. Having this information readily available can be extremely helpful should you require evaluation by the medical team or transportation to a local hospital. A medical clinic will be available throughout the Grand Session to address minor illnesses and injuries, and qualified medical personnel will be readily available during each session to provide assistance as needed. The forecast calls for temperatures in the 90s during the week. To help prevent heat-related illness, please stay well hydrated, especially if you will be spending time outdoors. We encourage you to limit sugary and alcoholic beverages. A good rule of thumb is to drink at least one 8-ounce glass of water for every sugary or alcoholic beverage you consume. Your health and safety are important to us, and we appreciate your cooperation in helping make this Grand Session a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Travel safely, and welcome to Nashville! Fraternally, PM Willie Agee, III, M.D., Ph.D., D.ABA PM Cathy Spencer-Waymon |
