December 2022

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving with family and friends. The holidays are ahead and I want to take this time  to thank everyone of my brothers for the support and encouragement throughout this year. Together, my year as Master was very fulfilling, and I am very happy with the level of success we were able to achieve. I encourage every brother to get more active, come to meetings, rekindle old friends and enjoy the fellowship, and help make plans for our lodge in the coming years.  As we move into the new year.I personally want to wish every brother a safe and Happy Holiday.

Table Lodge

For the November 22nd regularly stated communication, Frederick Franklin Lodge was proud to host its 2022 Table Lodge. Brothers in attendance included Brother Bill Bohman, Most Worshipful Past Grand Master of Masons in the State of Connecticut, and WB Mychael Scribner, current Worshipful Master of Seneca Lodge No. 55 in Torrington.

The Table Lodge represents a return to tradition after the pandemic prevented this sort of fellowship for the past couple years. A seven course meal was presented in addition to the seven traditional toasts of obligation. For the event, the lodge's dining room was transformed into a temporary temple. 

Brothers enjoyed a meal of pasta, sausage and peppers, and baked chicken. The night concluded with the traditional singing of "Auld Lang Syne" and the National Anthem. While the Table Lodge earned a profit, the feelings of Brotherly love and friendship were, and are, the most important benefits of this wonderful night. We look forward to continuing this annual tradition next year!
